SAFETY

iTAC (INTELLIGENCE TORQUE ADAPTION CONTROL) SYSTEM

The BYD SEAL raises the benchmark for driving safety with advanced iTAC (Intelligent Torque Adaption Control) technology. Unlike conventional traction systems, iTAC actively manages power delivery through intelligent torque distribution, controlled torque reduction, and negative torque output to help minimise wheel slip and maintain stability in challenging driving conditions.

By continuously optimising traction and vehicle balance, the system enhances both safety and handling, delivering greater confidence, improved control, and a smoother, more composed driving experience.

The BYD SEAL is underpinned by the advanced BYD e-Platform 3.0, a next-generation architecture developed exclusively for pure electric vehicles. At the heart of the BYD SEAL is BYD’s groundbreaking Blade Battery, a technology that has helped redefine safety, durability, and efficiency in the electric vehicle sector. Designed without the use of scarce materials such as nickel and cobalt, it offers a more sustainable approach to battery development while maintaining exceptional performance.

Subjected to extensive testing in some of the most demanding conditions, the Blade Battery has earned worldwide recognition for its outstanding safety credentials, making it one of the most trusted and advanced battery technologies available today.

ENERGY EFFICIENCY

HIGH-EFFICIENCY HEAT PUMP SYSTEM

The BYD SEAL comes equipped with an advanced heat pump system as standard, engineered to maximise efficiency in a wide range of driving conditions. By intelligently recovering and reusing residual heat from the powertrain, battery pack, and cabin, the system improves thermal management while reducing unnecessary energy consumption.

This innovative technology helps preserve battery performance and extend driving range, particularly in colder weather, ensuring greater efficiency and comfort throughout the year.
